Many Ukrainians who have reached retirement age this year will not be able to go on a long-awaited vacation in time.
Why this can happen, the experts of the publication “On Pension” explained.
So, there are two main conditions for retirement – this is the achievement retirement age and the availability of the necessary insurance experience. They need to be completed at the same time, so if the retirement age comes sooner or later, then not everyone is lucky with the insurance experience.
This year you need to have at least 29 years old insurance experience, and this figure can be significantly less than the total length of service.
The fact is that the length of service is considered to be the period of work during which taxes were paid for the employee and, most importantly, the only social contribution for which pension payments are made.
That is, if you work unofficially for a certain time, during this period no one paid ERUs, which means – years can be deleted from the insurance experience.
What’s the catch?
Please note that if this year you did not have enough insurance experience for only a year to retire at 60, then after working another 12 months you You won’t be able to retire at 61.
The fact is that in 2023 it will already be necessary to have 30 years of insurance experienceto retire
Experts in this case advise you to retire in 2025, when you will be 63, if at that time you have accumulated at least 22 years of insurance experience.
If even then the experience is not enough, you can retire at 65, then it will be enough to have 15 years of insurance experience.
