Borsa: Milan grows with Saipem and Mps, weak Poste

(ANSA) – MILAN, 08 JUL – Last positive week session for the Milan Stock Exchange: the Ftse Mib index closed up by 1% net at 21,774 points, the Ftse All share up by 1.07 % at 23,852.

Equity markets in the Old Continent also ended generally above par, with Frankfurt significantly healthier than everyone else with a final 1.3% rise thanks largely to automotive groups. The London Stock Exchange rose by 0.1% also looking at political tensions, with a final increase of 0.4% in both Paris and Amsterdam. Down 0.2% Madrid, Moscow price lists flat.

Natural gas price down on the Amsterdam market of reference for Europe: methane closed down by 4% to 175 euros per megawatt hour, while the spread between 10-year BTPs and German Bunds held: the differential closed the session at 193 basis points, on the same line as the start of the day.

In this context, in Piazza Affari Mps has clearly rebounded: the stock, strong throughout the session, closed with an increase of 11.7% at 0.53 euros, after having reached the new all-time low of 0 in recent days. 45. Another strong rise for Saipem on the last day of the week preceding the closing of the 2 billion capital increase on Monday: the stock gained 7.27% to 3.6 euros, exceeding the level of last January 31st, when he sounded the alarm on the accounts.

Buzzi also did well (+ 5%), with Leonardo up by four percentage points. Also purchases on Stellantis (+ 3.8%) and Tenaris, which closed up 3.6%. Little move Tim (+ 0.7%) after the market day, some sales on Terna and Poste down by one and a half percentage points. In the smaller capitalization basket, MfeB shares rose 5.9% after Biscione with Opas on Mediaset Espana rose to 83% of the Spanish subsidiary. (HANDLE).
