Gas tariffs

Ukrainian gas suppliers made public their basic annual offers in July 2022. Consumers use the services of 14 companies, which almost did not change the price of natural gas compared to June.

The lowest price was set by “Era People” – UAH 7.7 per cubic meter of gas. The average market price is UAH 7.79-8.2 per cubic meter. Companies (Kyiv and Dnipro Energy Services, YASNO – UAH 8.46), Ascania Energy (UAH 9.95) and SvetGaz (Retail Service – UAH 9.99) have the highest tariffs.

More payments for IDPs

The list of territorial communities, migrants from which can receive financial assistance from the country, has been expanded. The Ministry of Reintegration of the Occupied Territories added the Tauride community of the Zaporozhye region and the Koryukov community of the Chernihiv region.

A total of 310 communities have been identified in different areas, from which internally displaced persons can receive funding from the state. A complete list of specific communities can be found here. The amount of support for living is 2000 UAH/month. for an adult, and for 3000 UAH / month. for a child or person with a disability.

Surprise from banks

Three major Ukrainian banks have prepared innovations for their clients. PrivatBank limited spending on cards with a turnover of UAH 500,000 per month if the user does not confirm their income.

Starting August 1, Monobank plans to transfer the tariffs of loan products to standard terms. At the same time, Oschadbank customers will be able to access the Sber 24/7 application via messages in Viber.

Winter restriction

The heating season 2022-2023 will be very difficult for Ukrainians. To save on heat, the government plans to introduce restrictions for the winter. Firstly, citizens should get used to opening windows and heating the street, and secondly, heat will be supplied centrally to the houses in the range of 18-20 degrees. The lowest mark inside the apartment will be at around 16 degrees.

Another bank on the brink

Employees of the SBU seized the property and assets of Forward Bank, the ultimate owner of which is businessman Rustam Tariko. The profit from the activities of the institution went to finance the war in Ukraine.

Associate expert of CASE Ukraine, former deputy director of the financial stability department of the NBU Evgeny Dubogryz believes that Forward Bank will have to leave the market, as it will lose liquidity and the NBU will attribute it to problematic or insolvent banks.

Segodnya previously wrote that the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law to support business during the war, and also talked about the real estate market in Kharkov – what apartments and how much developers are selling.
