(ANSA) – MILAN, 11 JULY – Autogrill and Dufry create a group with over 12 billion in revenues and an EBITDA of around 1.3 billion. Edition will become the largest shareholder, with a stake between 25 and 20% but the leadership will be the Swiss leaders, Juan Carlos Torres and Xavier Rossinyol who will respectively be executive president and CEO of the new group. On the stock market, the shares are positioning themselves on the value of the mandatory takeover bid that will be triggered when Edizione transfers its 50.3%: -7.83% to 6.31 euros for the Italian group and + 6.4% to 33.24 for the Italian group. Autogrill, “will remain an asset of a strategic nature for Edizione”, says Alessandro Benetton who will join the board of directors of the new group as honorary president. “It represents an exceptional opportunity to create value for our stakeholders” adds Gianmario Tondato da Ruos who will leave the position of Autogrill to Paolo Roverato and will assume the position of Executive Chairman of all the North American activities of the new group.
