Stock market: Europe holds with Wall street, Milan better (+ 1.2%)

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 18 – Stock markets of the Old Continent generally positive after the opening of Wall Street, with Milan being the best stock market by a few fractions thanks to the Ftse Mib index up by 1.2%. The other European lists are swaying on an increase of around one percentage point, with Madrid uncertain that it is also testing some hike in negative terrain. Flat Moscow, with calm gas at around 150 euros per megawatt hour.
Piazza Affari also benefits from the easing of the spread which fluctuates around 210 basis points, with banks clearly up: Intesa + 3%, Unicredit + 2.3%. Monte dei Paschi is very volatile, leaving Friday’s lows and growing by 2.8% after reaching peaks of 8% and a suspension in the volatility auction.
Among other securities, purchases on Tenaris which grew by more than four percentage points, while Enel pays the coupon and loses 2.6%. Still very badly Saipem, which sells 5% to 0.77 euros with the consortium of banks to guarantee the capital increase that will put at least part of its share on the market. (HANDLE).
