(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 20 – In May 2022 the seasonally adjusted index of construction production saw a “slight decline” compared to the previous month, the second in a row, of 0.1%. “The levels of production remain, however, very high”, observes Istat and in the trend comparison, the index adjusted for calendar effects “grows markedly” (by 16.9% compared to the previous year), “albeit with a slight slowdown compared to previous months”. The crude index recorded a growth of 21%.
On the average of the first five months of 2022, the index corrected for calendar effects increases by 18.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, while the raw index increases by 18.5%. (HANDLE).
