From next July 25, it will be possible to submit the request on the INPS website for the “Contribution to support the costs of psychotherapy sessions”, introduced by the decree law of December 30, 2021, n. 228. This was communicated by a note from the institute.

Applications can be submitted until 24 October, after which the rankings will be drawn up on the basis of available resources. The benefit will be paid primarily to people with the lowest ISEE (up to the threshold of 50 thousand euros), based on the order of arrival of the application.

“The new benefit, intended for citizens applying for ISEE not exceeding 50 thousand euros, is aimed at supporting the costs of psychological assistance for those who, in the delicate period of the pandemic and the related economic crisis, have seen an increase in the conditions of depression, anxiety , stress and psychological fragility “, reads the text.
Spid, Cie or Cns credentials are required to submit the application. The procedure is available by accessing the “Contribution for psychotherapy sessions” service accessible via the home page of the website www.inps.it, following the path: “Services and services”, then “Services” and “Access point to non-pension benefits” . As an alternative to the website, the application can be submitted through the Multichannel Contact Center service. The instructions for the presentation are contained in Circular 83 of 19 July.

The psychological bonus is a useless measure that will not really help those who, due to Covid, have suffered psychological relapses and need concrete and lasting support “.reminding the start of applications for the incentive starting from next 25 July. The association disputes “obvious critical issues”, from the funds available “completely insufficient”, only 10 million euros will be allocated directly to citizens “, and from the Isee ceiling up to 50 thousand euros” too high “and the ranking based on to the order of arrival of the application. “Only 16 thousand lucky ones will be able to enjoy the psychological bonus, and a large slice of citizens who have developed forms of mental distress with Covid will be cut off from the provision. Not to mention – concludes Codacons – the possible price increases by psychologists, as happened for other categories of goods and services affected by the incentives launched by the Government in the last two years “.
