Stock Exchange: Asia closes down, look at Fed’s next moves

(ANSA) – MILAN, JULY 25 – Asian stock exchanges closed down while fears of a global recession are growing among investors. The focus is on the Fed’s upcoming monetary policy decisions. On the markets, the issue of the war in Ukraine and the effects of the economic sanctions against Russia remain central.

Tokyo fell (-0.77%). On the currency market, the Japanese currency rose slightly against the dollar at 136.43, and against the euro at 139.13. While negotiations are still in progress, Hong Kong (-0.51%), Shanghai (-0.47%), Shenzhen (-0.83%) and Mumbai (-0.68%) are down. In contrast to Seoul (+ 0.44%).
