(ANSA) – GENOA, 27 JUL – As anticipated during the recent interlocutions, the two groups, Webuild (leader with Fincantieri, Fincosit and Sidra) and Consorzio Eteria (with Gavio, Caltagirone, Acciona and Rcm) sent yesterday, the respective technical economic proposals for the construction of the new Genoa Dam. The next step, closely, will be the evaluation of the technical content of the proposals by an independent panel of experts, says the commissioner for the work and president of the ports of Genoa and Savona Paolo Emilio signorini.
The new breakwater of the port of Genoa is considered the most important work of the NRP and for its construction there is an estimated cost of 1 billion and 300 million. The tender for the first part of the work, which envisages works for 929 million, had expired on 30 June and was deserted because the two groups that had expressed interest had considered the amount not congruent with the works. The extra costs and geological aspects weighed. Now the proposals, according to rumors, should include about 300 million more. (HANDLE).
