(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 27 – Victor TK Li, president of CK Group, received the honor of Grand Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy, conferred by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, through the Italian Consul to Hong Kong.
The Order of the Star of Italy is a recognition given to foreigners for their extraordinary contribution to the economy, culture or scientific research of the country.
The title of Grand Officer of the Order was awarded to Victor Li for his significant achievements in promoting friendly relations and fostering trade links between Italy and Hong Kong. Li Ka-shing, Senior Advisor of CK Group, was appointed Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2005 by the then President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.
CK Group is one of the largest foreign investors in Italy, in companies such as the telecommunications operator Windtre or Marionnaud (perfumes and cosmetics), and Ista (integrated energy management services). (HANDLE).
