Fincantieri: ‘Norwegian prima’ delivered for Norwegian Cruise

(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 29 JUL – “Norwegian Prima” was delivered today in Marghera, the first of six new generation cruise ships of the new Prima class for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), which is part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., a US cruise group among the first in the world.

“Norwegian Prima” – 142,500 gross tons, 300 meters long and capable of accommodating 3,215 passengers, innovative, careful to contain energy consumption and environmental impact – with the twin units they will be the backbone of NCL’s future fleet, according to a delivery program scheduled until 2027. The Holdings also includes the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands (for which Fincantieri will deliver the third luxury cruise ship “Seven Seas Grandeur” and Oceania Cruises to Ancona in 2023 and two other wallet).

The delivery facility was attended by, among others, Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, Frank Del Rio, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, and Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and CEO of Fincantieri. (HANDLE).
