Stock Exchange: Milan closes positively like Europe, Saipem slips

From Opec, a mini rise among the signs of recession (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 04 – The Milan Stock Exchange (+ 0.31%) closed in positive ground, in line with the other European lists. In Piazza Saipem slips (-5.5%), in line with the energy sector with the price of oil falling. The spread between BTPs and Bunds narrowed, ending the session at 212 points, with the Italian ten-year yield falling to 2.92%.

In Piazza Affari, a negative performance also for Tim (-3%), following the half-year accounts. Inwit also fell sharply (-1.3%), on the day Tim closed the sale to Ardian.

Difficult session for Tenaris (-3.8%) while Eni is not very moving (-0.09%). Male Iveco (-2.1%) and Stellantis (-0.7%) while Cnh is bucking the trend (+ 2.2%).

In no particular order the banks. In the red, Banco Bpm (-3.3%), Fineco (-1%) and Bper (-0.6%), the latter on the day of the accounts.

On the rise Intesa (+ 0.5%), Unicredit (+ 0.9%) and Mps (+ 2.9%), the latter with the union agreement for 3,500 voluntary departures.

On the shields Diasorin (+ 4.3%) and Prysmian (+ 4.2%). Unipol also did well (+ 2.4%), on the eve of the accounts. Positive trend for utilities where A2a (+ 1.4%) and Snam (+ 1%) are showing off.

Tod’s is up (+ 0.8%) which rises to 40.52 euros, above the price of the takeover bid launched by the Della Valle family to acquire 25.55%. (HANDLE).
