Stock Exchange: Europe improves after Wall Street, Milan + 1%

Scrapping does not hit targets, collections stopped at 18 billion (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 08 – Stock markets of the Old Continent all clearly up after the positive start of Wall Street: Amsterdam and Paris are the two best stock exchanges with an increase of 1.3%, followed by Madrid and Frankfurt (+ 1.1%) and Milan, which grew by one percentage point with the Ftse Mib index. London is slightly more cautious (+ 0.8%), while Moscow’s stock indices grow by two percentage points.

The price of gas has been limited, which in Amsterdam drops by about two points to 193 euros per megawatt hour, with oil stable between 88 and 89 dollars per barrel. Italian government bonds improve and the 10-year BTP yield falls below 3% with the spread against Germany at 210.

In general, the markets have well absorbed the quarterly reports and in this context Bper and Tenaris stand out in Piazza Affari, up by three percentage points. Enel, Cnh and Stellantis also did well, up by more than 2%, while Pirelli and Banco Bpm were weak, losing one point. (HANDLE).
