(ANSA) – MILAN, 08 AUGUST – First session of the week slightly positive for Piazza Affari: the Ftse Mib index closed up by 0.63% to 22,727 points, the Ftse All share up by 0.58% in share 24,869.
With markets passing the quarterly test and awaiting US inflation data mid-week, Madrid was the best of the day, closing up 1.3%, followed by Paris and Frankfurt up. final of 0.8%. Amsterdam was also positive (+ 0.7%), with London up by 0.6%.
The spread between 10-year BTPs and German Bunds slightly increased: the differential closed the session at 212 basis points compared to 210 at the start, with the yield on the Treasury product at 3.01%. On the other hand, the price of gas was limited: methane on the Amsterdam list, the reference market for Europe, marked a final fall of 1.6% to 193 euros per megawatt hour. In this context, among the main stocks of the Milan Stock Exchange, Stellantis stands out, growing by 3.1% to 14.7 euros, with Bper and Tenaris up by more than two percentage points. Terna also did well (+ 1.7%), in line with the general Tim price list, up by 0.6%. Some sales on Finecobank (-1.1%), weak Banco Bpm, slipped by 2.2% to 2.59.
