Stock market: Europe sluggish waiting for the USA, Milan -0.5%

Scrapping does not hit targets, collections stopped at 18 billion (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 09 – After a first part of the session without a clear direction, the stock markets of the Old Continent turned the half-session mark, flexing slightly: the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and Amsterdam fell 0.9% while Milan lost half a percentage point with the Ftse Mib index. Down by 0.4% Paris, flat London and Madrid, Moscow looking for a slight rise.

With the markets awaiting the start of Wall Street, some macroeconomic indices from the United States, but above all the US inflation data of tomorrow, some tension on European government bonds, with the spread moving on 213 basis points and the yield of the 10-year BTP at 3.07%.

In Piazza Affari Bper, Tim and Generali rose by one percentage point, while Stm and Interpump lost over two percent. (HANDLE).
