Stock market: Milan sluggish (-0.1%), gains on Tenaris and Saras

Scrapping does not hit targets, collections stopped at 18 billion (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 10 – Piazza Affari appears sluggish in the first half hour of trading, with the Ftse Mib index down 0.1% and most of the basket of large stocks in the red. The exceptions are Bper (+ 1.36%), Pirelli (+ 1.22%) and Generali (+ 1.1%), which were confirmed by Moody’s rating and outlook.

Purchases also on Leonardo (+ 0.64%) and Unicredit (+ 0.66%), whose rating remained unchanged as for the other banks, with the outlook cut from ‘neutral’ to ‘negative’ after the same cut on Italy last August 5th. They took profits on Saras (-2.1%) and Tenaris (-0.77%), brilliant on the eve of the rise in crude oil, which today instead falls below 90 dollars (Wti -0.74% at 89.77 dollars a barrel) after the advances on US weekly stocks on the eve. Eni flat (+ 0.05%).

In the morning, the data on inflation in Italy is expected.

No surprises from Germany, while in the afternoon the eyes are focused on the dynamics of prices in the USA, which is decisive for the next moves by the Fed. The differential between German BTPs and Bunds is stable at 110 points, with the Italian annual yield down 3 points per 2.99%, below 3% for the first time since last August 5th. (HANDLE).
