Prices have changed again. Which three products have risen the most since the beginning of the year

For 9 months of 2021, onions have risen in price by 84.2% to 9.4 hryvnia per kilogram

Since the beginning of the year in Ukraine, the prices for vegetables of “borsch set”, sunflower oil and sugar have risen the most.

This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service.

Compared to December 2020, sunflower oil has risen in price by 51.4% to 63.7 hryvnia per liter, and sugar by 37.3% to 28.7 hryvnia per kilogram.

Chicken fillet has risen in price since the beginning of the year by 25.5% to 115.1 hryvnia per kilogram, chicken carcasses – by 27.6% to 71.4 hryvnia per kilogram.

Of the vegetables, onions rose in price the most – by 84.2% to 9.4 hryvnia per kilogram, beets – by 49.0% to 8.0 hryvnia per kilogram, carrots – by 48.5% to 8.9 hryvnia per kilogram, cabbage – by 39.1% to 6.6 hryvnia per kilogram.

At the same time, eggs and potatoes fell in price by 18.0% to 8.3 hryvnia per kilogram, and apples by 3.0% to 17.7 hryvnia.

The prices of cigarettes and alcohol also rose. Beer has risen in price since the beginning of the year by 8.9% to 19.1 hryvnia per bottle, Ukrainian wine – by 5.6% to 70.0 hryvnia per 0.75 liter bottle. Vodka prices increased by 1.3% to UAH 93.8 per 0.5 liter. Premium cigarettes rose in price by 11.3% to UAH 64.4 per pack.
