Alessandro Bratti at the helm of the Po District Authority

(ANSA) – PARMA, AUGUST 17 – The Po-MiTE River District Authority has a new leadership from today and for the next mandate. On the proposal of the Ministry of Ecological Transaction – countersigned by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – the recent government appointment identified Alessandro Bratti as the most suitable personality to cover the role of general secretary of AdBPo in the vast area of ​​the hydrographic district of the Grande Fiume from the Aosta Valley to the Marche.

From Ferrara, current vice president of the European Environment Agency, Bratti has a long-standing curriculum. Graduated with honors in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bologna and with research experience in the USA, he has until now been a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Ferrara after having directed Ispra for four years, where he started and carried out multiple projects for the study, constant monitoring and timely defense of the national territory. In the past he was also director of Arpa Emilia-Romagna.

His political career saw him first engaged as a municipal councilor in Ferrara and later as a parliamentarian he was active in the Environment Commission and president of the Bicameral Commission of inquiry into illegal activities connected to the waste cycle.

Bratti will take office in the next few days in the offices of the Po River District Authority which has its headquarters in Parma. (HANDLE).
