Stock Exchange: Europe uncertain in the end with Wall Street, Milan + 1%

Euro splash, now worth less than a dollar (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 23 – The main European stock exchanges appear uncertain in the end, with the exception of Milan (Ftse Mib + 1%), with the US indices contrasting (Dow Jones -0.45%, Nasdaq + 0.14%) .

Weak Frankfurt (-0.2%), Paris (-0.3%), London (-0.65%) and Madrid (-0.75%). The differential between German BTPs and ten-year Bunds starts to rise again, reaching 233.3 points, with the Italian annual yield increasing by 3.4 points to 3.644%. The euro and the dollar remain unchanged, while WTI crude oil is advancing (+ 3.81% to 93.81 dollars per barrel) pending the advances on US inventories and on the hypothesis of a cut in production by the countries of the ‘Opec. Natural gas in Amsterdam remained stable below 270 euros per MWh (-2.98% to 268.75 euros).
