Gas: Italy’s stockpiles exceed 80%

The Italian gas storages have exceeded the 80% threshold. According to what is learned from technical sources, this quota has been exceeded even if the European platform, which certifies the figure with a couple of days delay, marks the amount of gas injected this morning at 154.6 TWh, equal to 79.92% of the overall capacity. In Europe 854.56 TWh were stored with an average filling index of 77.74%.

There Germany it is confirmed first for gas stored with 196.82 TWh, a filling index of 80.65% and a daily average of storage equal to 0.51%. They follow theItaly close to 155 TWh, calculated on the basis of an average daily filling of 0.21%, and the France, which has stocks of 118.2 TWh of methane, a filling index that is close to 90% to 89.81% and a daily filling rate of 0.3%. The highest storage index is recorded in Poland, with 99.57% for 36.25 TWh of inventories. It follows her Denmark with 93.55% of stocks in warehouses for a total of 8.63 TWh. Above 80%, there are also the Belgium (84.92% at 7.38 TWh) and the Czech Republic (81.54% at 35.69 TWh). Outside the EU, he completed his stocks on United Kingdom (100%), storing 10.48 TWh of natural gas.

On the day that marks the six-month war in Ukraine with aggression by Russia, after a calmer start, gas moves up by 4% on the Amsterdam market around 280 euros at Megawatt hour around noon. Oil increased by 1% on 94 dollars a barrel.
