The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court allowed a pre-trial investigation against the former head of PrivatBank’s board, Alexander Dubilet.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
“On October 28, 2021, the investigator judge VAKS granted the petition of the NABU detective, agreed by the SAP prosecutor, to grant permission to carry out a special pre-trial investigation (in absentia) against the former head of PrivatBank’s board,” – the message says.
The court believes that the said decision will allow to complete the pre-trial investigation against Dubilet, who is hiding from the investigation abroad.
And the Anti-Corruption Center reported that Dubilet took part in the meeting via videoconference.
“He showed a Ukrainian and Israeli passport. The banker is not going to return to Ukraine, because here he is allegedly in danger,” – it was said in the message.
Arrest of Dubilet
