Electricity has risen in price for Ukrainians? How much does light cost in November

No increase in electricity tariffs for Ukrainians is planned for November. They changed from October 1 and will remain fixed until April.

What about the tariffs?

Last month, the Cabinet of Ministers lowered prices, but only for some Ukrainians who consume less than fixed volumes.

What tariffs have been set for Ukrainians:

• for households consuming less than 250 kW * h, they will be reduced to UAH 1.44 per kW (now UAH 1.68);
• for those who consume more than 250 kW * h per month, tariffs remain unchanged – 1.68 UAH per kW * h.

Note that Naftogaz, the Association of Cities, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities signed a joint memorandum, which stipulates that until the end of the heating season, tariffs for heat and hot water for the population will not increase. But, the tariff for the delivery of electricity does not fall under the memorandum of non-increase, it is not limited by anything, and the suppliers have already inflated prices.

How to pay for a communal apartment?

You can find out about the volumes of electricity consumption in your personal account, on the supplier’s official website. There you can also pay the cost of electricity in a few clicks.

In addition to your personal account, you can pay electricity bills using online payment systems or online banks. For example, many banks provide a service for paying utility bills; for convenience, the data needs to be specified only once. And then they will be automatically updated monthly, and there will be no need to wait for payments – you can immediately check the indicators and pay.

It should be noted that Ukrainians monthly need to transfer meter readings for electricity to the supplier. You can do it using e-mail, in your personal account or by phone number. In addition, the indicators are periodically checked by the employees of the electricity supplier.
