Minus 60%: Ukrposhta will sharply reduce tariffs for parcels to Germany

From April 1, Ukrposhta will reduce tariffs for parcels to Germany by 60%. That is, Ukrainians will not only be able to send parcels to relatives and friends to this country cheaper, but will also save on the delivery of Ukrainian-made goods when they are sold on international marketplaces.

This was reported by the press service of “Ukrposhta”. Sending can be done both at post offices, and using a personal account on the mail website, as well as in a mobile application. An additional 3% discount is applied when ordering online.

The cost of sending a parcel depends on its weight. From April 1, the rates for delivery to Germany will be as follows:

  • light packages – from $5.6 (about UAH 205);
  • up to 3 kg – $13.7 (approximately UAH 500);
  • 7 kg – from $ 21.6 (about 750 UAH).

The price immediately includes address delivery. The service is valid for all locations in Germany.

This is not the first country for which Ukrposhta has reduced delivery rates. In particular, earlier tariffs were “cut” for parcels to the Baltic countries and Poland.

As explained by the head of “Ukrposhta” Igor Smelyansky, we are talking about countries where there are a large number of Ukrainians. For example, in Germany it is about a million people. By the number of shipments from Ukraine, this country ranks third after the US and the UK.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, earlier Ukrposhta updated the rules for receiving parcels. Now, to receive a shipment, it is not necessary to have a passport with you.
