Some Ukrainians may retire early. To do this, they must fulfill all the necessary conditions provided for by law – in particular, work in hazardous industries.
This was reported in the Pension Fund. It was noted there, reports “On Pension”, that early retirement is also assigned to persons with a special status.
These are, in particular, participants in hostilities and persons with disabilities as a result of the war. And besides:
- family members of the perished (deceased) defenders and defenders of Ukraine;
- mothers of many children and mothers of children with disabilities since childhood, seriously ill children;
- liquidation participants and victims of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant;
- persons who, at the time of dismissal (due to downsizing or health reasons), have no more than one and a half years left before reaching retirement age.
At the same time, it is reminded: in 2023, you can retire at the age of 60 – if you have at least 30 years of experience. And:
- at 63 years old – with at least 20 years of experience;
- at 65 years old – with at least 15 years of experience.
Pensioners will receive a monthly supplement
At the same time, Ukrainian pensioners will receive a monthly compensation payment of approximately UAH 300-570. However, not everyone – only those whose payments do not exceed UAH 10,340.
Another condition is reaching a certain age. Yes, surcharges are provided for people over 70 years old.
According to the Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Daria Marchak, pensioners aged 70-75 can count on payment of up to 300 UAH. And besides:
- 75-80 years – up to 456 UAH;
- over 80 years old – up to 570 UAH.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, in general, since March 1, payments to almost all Ukrainian pensioners have been increased. The minimum increase was 100 UAH, the maximum – 1500 UAH. On average, the increase was about 400–500 UAH.
