Ukrainians can receive fines of thousands of hryvnias for the breakdown and sale of wild garlic. Moreover, they are fined even if they pick a plant in their own garden.

In Ukraine, you can legally buy wild garlic only in the form of seeds. It can be grown in the garden or cottage, but it is forbidden to pick it.

So, if a person was detained in the forest when he plucked wild garlic, then he faces a fine of 510 to 850 UAH. In this case, you will additionally need to pay 62 UAH. for each bulb. It is for the sale of a Red Book plant that faces a fine of 1700 to 3650 UAH.
