They want to leave Russia without drones and toys: Japan imposed sanctions

Japan has imposed new sanctions against Russia, banning the export of components for aviation, the space industry, as well as materials and parts that can be used to manufacture drones. In particular, we are talking about all toys with wheels.

This was reported in the government of the country. They noted that in this way Japan wants to “contribute to international efforts to achieve peace.”

“We will implement [обмежувальні] measures for the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The new package of sanctions will come into force on April 7.

What is forbidden to ship to Russia

The new restrictions include components of aviation, the space industry, as well as materials and parts that Russia can use to produce drones. In particular:

  • steel and products from it;
  • aluminum and products from it;
  • construction machines (hydraulic excavators, bulldozers);
  • aviation engines;
  • electrical equipment and parts thereof, radio equipment for navigation, generators;
  • aircraft and spacecraft, spare parts for them, as well as UAVs;
  • optical, photographic, measuring equipment and details;
  • all toys with wheels, as well as prefabricated models and models, puzzles and puzzles.

The EU will begin the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia

Meanwhile, the EU is initiating a new project that will help improve the effectiveness of the sanctions imposed against Russia. 9 countries take part in it:

  • Czech Republic:
  • Cyprus;
  • Denmark;
  • Hungary;
  • Lithuania;
  • Malta;
  • Romania;
  • Slovenia;
  • Spain

“The group will map the authorities responsible for the asset freeze … And the European Commission will provide an expert assessment of its financial services group and cover the cost of additional support from the Council of Europe,” according to Bloomberg.

The new initiative is seen as a predictor of the creation of a joint EU body for the application of sanctions. In fact, this will be the first time that the EU’s executive body has supported member states in enforcing sanctions on such a scale.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted that the sanctions imposed against the country are in effect. According to him, soon the Russian economy is experiencing the negative impact of restrictions. Although quite recently the owner of the Kremlin assured that Russia only benefited from breaking ties with the West.
