(ANSA) – MILAN, 05 NOV – A week to be framed for Piazza Affari, pushed with the other stock exchanges by the central banks that have calmed the markets and favored by the decrease in tension on government bonds. The equity markets of the Old Continent continue their run parallel to Wall Street and, with Milan, Madrid also rose by one percentage point on the decline in yields on public debt. Paris, on the other hand, marked a final increase of 0.7%, however sufficient to exceed the 7,000 points threshold for the first time at the end of the year with the Cac 40 index, still touching its all-time high. Frankfurt is more cautious, however, also at the highest levels ever, and London, with the Ftse 100 index at its highest since February 2020, that is, since the beginning of the collapse due to the Covid pandemic.

Piazza Affari, as mentioned, also looked at the spread between German BTPs and Bunds around 115 and the yield on the Treasury product below the 0.9% threshold, with the entire financial sector in good health. Banco Bpm, especially on the positive nine-month accounts and the new business plan, rose by 5% to 2.9 euros, with Nexi and Banca Generali growing by 3.2%. Intesa recorded an increase in line with the general indices, Unicredit a little more cautious (+ 0.6%) with flat Mps. A separate discussion for Tim, who closed up by 4.7% at € 0.34 after hitting a maximum during the day at 35 cents, with coverings taken after the rumors about the reopening of the Open Fiber dossier and now on the possible interest of the Kkr fund to invest more in Fibercop.
