Help after the war: what payments will the military in Ukraine receive

In Ukraine after the end of the war military personnel will be paid depending on certain circumstances. At the same time, only conscripts will not receive money.

So, the amount of payments will depend on the position in which the soldier was located. This is stated in the order of the Ministry of Defense on the approval of the Procedure for the payment of monetary allowances to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and some other persons.

If the military was released from service for health reasons, he has the right to a one-time payment of 50% of their monetary allowance. Also, such a payment can be claimed under the following conditions:

  • dismissal from military service due to age;
  • in case of staff reduction or organizational measures;
  • expiration of the contract;
  • direct submission to a close person;
  • systematic non-compliance with the terms of the contract by the command;
  • with the onset of a special period and the unwillingness to continue military service as a female soldier with a child under the age of 18.

For their part, officers who go through regular military service and leave it of their own free will, for family reasons or for other valid reasons, may be assigned a lump-sum cash payment in the amount of 25% of monthly salary. To do this, you must have at least 10 calendar years of service to the state.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported earlier, payments to Ukrainians with children in Poland will increase from PLN 500 (UAH 4,430) to PLN 800 (over UAH 7,000) per month. However, the increase in assistance will have to wait – the growth is planned from January 1, 2024.
