In Ukraine, on May 26, the cash exchange rate of the dollar slightly changed compared to yesterday. Yes, the value of the US currency is 37.20/37.60 UAH/$ (purchase/sale).
Compared to May 25, the dollar exchange rate for buying has risen by 5 kopecks, for selling it has not changed. This is evidenced by the data of the portal of the Ministry of Finance.
Among the big banks set the highest buy rate:
- Ukreximbank – UAH 37.20/$;
- Raiffeisen Bank, Credit Agricole Bank – UAH 37.10 / $.
Oschadbank determined the smallest buy rate – 36.90 UAH/$. Wherein set the highest selling price:
- Credit Agricole Bank – UAH 37.85 / $;
- Sberbank – UAH 37.80 / $.
The smallest sell rate has been published:
- Universal Bank – 37.45 UAH / $;
- PrivatBank – UAH 37.47 / $.
What will happen to the dollar?
According to the forecast of the analyst of the analytical center “United Ukraine” Oleksiy Kushch, the hryvnia in June will remain stable, but fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate are possible. It is likely that the cash rate will not fall below the official rate and will not rise above the mark of UAH 38.9/$.
“We now have a derivative of international financial assistance. More or less stable money comes from Western partners, so there is everything for exchange rate stability. Plus, there was a continuation of the “grain corridor”, transits through Poland and other countries were unblocked. Also, commodity exports resumed. Of course, not to the pre-war level, but we now have 60-70% of the pre-war level of exports,” the expert said.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Ukrainians are not advised to buy currency now, if this is done in the hope that the exchange rate will devalue in the future.
