In Ukraine, for the unheated season, payments for communal services (subsidies) will be issued automatically. This is possible provided that the data on the property status or composition of the family have not changed.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, housing subsidies will also be automatically reassigned to internally displaced persons who receive them at the address of registration. If the migrants plan to apply for a subsidy to an address other than the place of registration, you need to contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine and submit an appropriate application and income declaration.
Housing subsidies will be assigned on the basis of information received from the provision of services on providing citizens with housing and communal services at established prices, tariffs and the amount of contributions / payments for the management of an apartment building and utilities.
In the absence of the necessary information, a housing subsidy for such services will not be awarded. Displaced persons can apply for a housing subsidy for an unheated period online or by contacting the Fund’s service center at the place of actual residence.
It should be noted that in Ukraine the Pension Fund is responsible for the appointment and administration of subsidies. Help to pay for communal services to Ukrainians is paid to bank cards, delivered by Ukrposhta. According to the rules, the subsidy is assigned to the volume of utilities that is provided for by consumption standards.
If the family saves and spends less utilities, then it has the right to keep part of the funds from the subsidy and spend it at its discretion. An important condition: the utility bill must be paid on time and in full.
