In Ukraine, from July 1, pensions will be transferred to those who did not receive an increase in March. At the same time, indexation in the amount of about UAH 1,000 awaits those pensioners who now receive a pension in the amount of UAH 5,076, excluding supplements.
This follows from the message of the Pension Fund. Yes, those Ukrainians who receive payments under special laws can count on an increase. We are talking about civil servants, as well as local officials, scientists, people’s deputies, officials at all levels.
Note that the increase is provided for by the law on indexation. First of all, the indexation was carried out for the Ukrainians, who went on a well-deserved rest according to the general rules. To save some categories, payments will be transferred only from July 1.
The size of the increase will be individual for everyone. When recalculated, the net pension (excluding all allowances) will increase by 19.7%. This percentage was obtained by adding half of last year’s inflation rate and half of the three-year average wage growth.
At the same time, the indexation of the living wage in 2023 was canceled due to problems with the budget. Indexation was supposed to take place in the amount of inflation (i.e., be about 26.6%).
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS wrote earlier, a large-scale inspection of all pensioners will be carried out in Ukraine. Some of them may lose payments due to violations in paperwork.
