Ukrainians can receive UAH 16,000 from the Red Cross: how to apply

In Ukraine resumed accepting applications for the payment of UAH 16,000 from the Red Cross. Funds can be received by adult citizens with the status of persons with disabilities of groups 1 and 2, obtained as a result of the war.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. Ukrainians can receive financial assistance in a lump sum payment to the applicant’s bank account in the amount of UAH 4,000 per month. Payments will carried out within 4 months regardless of whether they receive other types of financial assistance.

How to receive the money?

  • Go to the website www.eveteran.gov.ua;
  • click on the link “Providing support to people with disabilities as a result of war”;
  • pass electronic identification and authentication using an integrated electronic identification system, an electronic signature based on a qualified electronic signature certificate;
  • check the spelling of your data – last name, first name, patronymic, registration number of the taxpayer’s account card. Then enter your international IBAN bank account number, phone number and email address.

Before sending the application, you should check the data and agree to the processing and transfer of data about yourself. Specialists verify the status of a war veteran – a person with a disability of the 1st or 2nd group of the applicant in the Unified State Register of War Veterans.

So, if a person meets this criterion, then the anonymized data of the applicant is automatically transferred to the Red Cross. Soon the organization will pay the money to the applicant.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported earlier, in Ukraine, on June 1, the Cabinet of Ministers launched a monetization program for children’s health improvement. Money can be received by parents who have children with disabilities or large families from a certain list of regions.
