“When we decide to change an intermediate objective of the Pnrr, a debate opens up that I don’t understand. Changing an intermediate objective does not mean dismantling the plan but making it safe”, said the minister in charge of the Pnrr Raffele Fitto.
“To say that there are some interventions that are not feasible by 2026 is very responsible, because we have the window that the EU gives us to make the changes”: said the minister. Fitto explained that this will happen with kindergartens: “Probably there will be an extension, modifying an intermediate objective” of the Pnrr to be able to conclude a final objective.
“By moving projects that cannot stay in the Pnrr” for a matter of time “they free themselves of resources that can be reprogrammed” with Repower and others “towards an industrial policy necessary for our country”, said the minister in charge of Pnrr, Raffaele Fitto, speaking at the presentation of Luigi Paganetto’s book on Pnrr. Fitto recalled that the connection between the funds, which allows for flexibility in programming, was approved on an Italian proposal at the European Council last February.
