For 900 thousand hryvnia, Ukrainians are sold a rare coin with a factory marriage, which allegedly has mystical power.

“Today” found her at one of the online auctions.

A coin with a denomination of 1 hryvnia is sold for 900 thousand, it was issued in 2006. If you look at the hryvnia, due to the marriage of the swimming trunks, you visually get the feeling that there is a dancing Shiva on the dome of the temple.

The seller writes that she brings good luck.

A similar coin, with a face value of one hryvnia and issued in 2006, is sold at another online auction. It is visually slightly different from the previous one and is much cheaper.

For her, the seller asks for 100 thousand hryvnia. she is also called “dancing Shiva”. This seller also assures that the coin has mystical power.

Commemorative coins in Ukraine

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the National Bank put into circulation four commemorative coins – not only from nickel silver with a denomination of 5 hryvnias, which appeared on August 10, but also from gold and silver. Coins from the series “Revival of Ukrainian Statehood” appeared on 17 August.

The following commemorative coins were introduced into circulation:

• 1 hryvnia denomination of silver, circulation 15,000 pieces;
• with a denomination of 10 hryvnia from silver, circulation of 3000 pieces;
• with a denomination of 50 hryvnia from silver, circulation of 500 pieces;
• with a denomination of 250 hryvnia of gold, circulation up to 400 pieces.

Earlier we reported that several thousand Soviet coins are being sold at auctions for numismatists. Often the denomination of these coins does not correspond to their real value.

For example, a test coin of 15 kopecks, not released into circulation, made of steel with a brass coating, costs more than 20 thousand hryvnia (about $ 800) at the auction.
