You don’t need much: how much Ukrainians really want to earn

Almost 25% of Ukrainians would be satisfied with an income of 10 thousand hryvnia per month, and another 14% are satisfied with a salary of 11-15 thousand hryvnia.

This is evidenced by the data of the research of the sociological group “Rating”, which was carried out from 4 to 9 November.

According to the survey results, the remaining 18% want to receive from UAH 16 to 20 thousand, 8% would be satisfied with an income of UAH 21 to 25 thousand, and another 11% answered that they want to earn from UAH 26 to 30 thousand.

It is interesting that the less income a person receives now, the less he calls the desired amount.

The smallest amount was called by women, and the lowest requests (up to 10 thousand hryvnyas) were called by the older group of women.

Most of all, middle-aged and younger men would like to receive, as well as big requests from residents of the capital.

How do Ukrainians assess their income?

36% of respondents assessed their income level as low, below average – 24%. 31% of respondents consider their average income, and only 8% are sure that they will earn a lot.

Such, in the course of the survey, it turned out that for 55% of the population, wages are the main source of income, another 13% receive income from business, and 6% – social benefits.

Where they pay the most

The site “Segodnya” found out that the best wages are in Kiev, Chernivtsi Kirovograd, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions.

But they pay less in the Kiev region, as well as in Transcarpathia, in the Chernigov, Lugansk and Ternopil regions.
