Delay of trains up to 6 hours: “Ukrzaliznytsia” warned of serious problems with the schedule

Ukrzaliznytsia reported on delays of some trains due to human injury on the railway track on the Poltava-Kharkiv section.

The company reports this on its Telegram channel, November 17.

It is noted that it can be up to six hours, and the next trains will not be able to arrive on time.

  • No. 64 Kiev – Kharkov (approximate delay time 6 hours);
  • # 141 Bakhmut – Lviv (5:42 am);
  • №725 Kharkov – Kiev (3 hours 30 minutes);
  • No. 18 Uzhgorod – Kiev (3 hours 10 minutes);
  • No. 8 Odessa – Kharkov (2 hours);
  • No. 722 Kiev – Kharkov (40 minutes).

Ukrzaliznytsia notes that the delay time may change and ask passengers to follow the information from the press service.

What happened?

On November 17, at the Pirogovo railway station, located in the village of Ogultsy, a freight train hit a woman on the railroad tracks.

The victim was thrown under the oncoming train by the force of the blow and died on the spot from her injuries.
