Ukrainians are offered rare foreign coins for thousands of hryvnias: what can you buy

One of the Ukrainian banks has opened an online store selling foreign valuable coins. They are mostly made of silver and gold.

They offer Ukrainians more than 120 coins from the mints of Poland, New Zealand and the Mayer Mint.

Such coins cost several thousand hryvnias, for example, the “Year of the Tiger” of the New Zealand Mint is sold for 2600 hryvnia, and the “Madonna” of the Mayer Mint is 12.5 thousand hryvnia. Numismatists can find rare among them and purchase them in their collection.

The price of these coins depends on the material from which they were made, the year of issue and the value. After all, the less often a coin is, the more it costs. And among the numismatists, copies with marriage are valuable.

“Tigers” are being sold to Ukrainians

A valuable coin with the image of a tiger, which will become a symbol of the new 2022, is being sold to Ukrainians at an online auction.

The denomination of the coin is $ 2. It is made of silver to order from the island of Niue. A limited number of such coins were issued – only 2 thousand.

The reverse of the coin features a tiger, the symbol of 2022. Probably it was made specially for the New Year, for private collections. And on the obverse – Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, since the inhabitants of Niue are British citizens.

Coins are sold to Ukrainians at online auctions

For 900 thousand hryvnias, Ukrainians are sold a rare coin with a factory marriage, allegedly having a mystical power. And the same, the same year of issue and denomination, they sell for 100 thousand hryvnia.

We can also get thousands of hryvnias for a 1 hryvnia coin. 1992 release. It turned out that such coins began to be produced only in 1995, and in 1992 there was only an experimental batch. This coin can be obtained with the rest in the store.
