(ANSA) – MILAN, NOV 22 – In the third quarter, net inflows from the asset management industry amounted to 18.5 billion euros, thanks to open-end funds which contributed 17 billion. A figure that led the system to reach the threshold of 70 billion subscriptions in the first 9 months of the year: it is the best result since 2017. This is what emerges from the usual Assogestioni map. Assets under management amounted to € 2,544 billion, up by € 24 billion compared to the end of the second quarter. The share of assets invested in collective management has increased, rising to 51.5% of the total. All the major macro-categories of open-end funds closed the quarter with a plus sign. Savers in particular preferred balanced products (+6.4 billion), equities (+4 billion) and bonds (+3.4 billion).
Positive signs also from the Individual Savings Plans. Pir compliant open-end funds recorded net subscriptions of 155 million, an improvement on the 106 million in inflows of the previous quarter. (HANDLE).
