Covid: Inail, 183 thousand reports of contagion since the beginning of the pandemic

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 25 – Inail received 1,511 reports of contagion from Covid at work in October, a figure that brings the overall reports for this type of injury since the beginning of the pandemic to 183,147. The INPS notes this, underlining that since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 782 reports of fatal cases. In the first 10 months of this year, cases are down by 57.2% compared to the same period in 2020.

The 183,147 cases of contagion at work reported are equal to more than one sixth of the total accident reports received since January 2020 and to 3.8% of the total national infected reported by the Higher Institute of Health (ISS) on the same date.

The deaths at work from Covid-19 reported to Inail since the beginning of the pandemic (782,) are more than a quarter of the total deaths reported to Inail since January 2020, with an incidence of 0.6% compared to the total of national deceased reported by the ISS on the same date. (HANDLE).
