Starting from December 1, businesses in Ukraine will not be able to independently choose their model of work in the yellow zones of adaptive quarantine.
This was stated by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko at a briefing on November 25 and noted that this is provided for by amendments to quarantine decree No. 1236.
Thus, from the first day of winter, it will be possible to visit public institutions in the settlements of the yellow zone only by those who has received at least one coronavirus vaccine and has the appropriate certificate.
Suitable also certificate of recovery and negative PCR test, noted the head of the Ministry of Health and added that this rule applies to officials and employees.
“Tightening the rules for the unvaccinated is necessary to reduce the burden on doctors and the medical system, because it is those patients who have not received a full course of vaccination that are mainly admitted to hospitals,” Lyashko said during a press conference.
Quarantine has been strengthened in Ukraine
On November 24, Ukraine tightened quarantine restrictions for the regions of the yellow zone. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Now in these regions, in addition to restrictions for business, the following rules will apply:
- the yellow certificate is no longer valid for 120 days, but only 30;
- certificates must now be scanned through the Diya application, and not just visually checked;
- the fine for the absence of such a check can vary from 34 to 170 thousand hryvnia.
