How Ukrainians learn online about work experience for retirement: instructions

Ukrainians do not have to personally come to the pension fund in order to submit information on seniority to the Pension Fund.

As told on the website of the “Pension Fund”, documents can be submitted online by scanning a work book and other documents confirming employment.

“A new service has been introduced – the provision of information about labor activity on the input of data records of paper documents on labor activity when providing their scanned copies”, – report to the PFU.

Such an opportunity is available to Ukrainians who are authorized using a Qualified Electronic Signature (CEP).

They can:

  • fill in the records of paper documents (labor book, military ID, diploma, collective farmer’s book, etc.), scanned copies of which will be added to the appeal;
  • check (fill in) general data – for the insured person are determined automatically and not edited; for the policyholder are provided for manual filling and subsequent verification of the presence of a person in the Register of Insured Persons (RSO) and the existence of an employment relationship between the policyholder and the insured person;
  • add scanned copies of documents required for the submission of information about labor activity;
  • sign the CEP appeal and send it to the PFC authority.

On the web portal, a Ukrainian can find out about the status of processing his appeal, as well as find out the current data on his labor activity, which are recorded in the PFC.

Raising pensions

Pensions will be increased in Ukraine from December 1. The indexation will be carried out due to the increase in the minimum wage, on which payments to those who have gone on a well-deserved rest depend. The minimum pension for people over the age of 65 will be UAH 2600.

Also, from December 1, 2021, the minimum living wage will increase from UAH 2294 to UAH 2393. And for all pensioners from 1854 to 1934 hryvnia – by 4.3% will increase the level of the minimum pension.
