In Ukraine, starting from December 1, the size of the minimum wage will increase from 6000 hryvnias. up to UAH 6,500 This means that the minimum hourly wage will also increase – from 36.1 hryvnia to 39.12 hryvnia.
As reported by “Apostrophe”, since December, the salary of employees of the first category of the Unified Wage Scale has also been growing. For November 2021 it is 2670 UAH and from the first day of winter will grow to 2893 hryvnia.
The discharges matter, first of all, for state employees, since they are used to establish salaries and an increase is carried out in accordance with the tariff scale.

Raising taxes
An increase in the minimum wage will entail not only positive consequences, but also an increase in taxes for different groups of the population.
So, from December 1, the size of taxation for individual entrepreneurs of the first and second groups, as well as the Unified Social Contribution, will increase.
From the first day of winter, the minimum ERU will increase to UAH 1,430, the tax for sole proprietors of the first group will be UAH 268, and the second – UAH 1,430.
In Ukraine, the cost of living will also rise and will lead to an increase in the size of unemployment payments.
