“Today” made a request to the support service of “Ukrposhta”, but have not yet received an official explanation.

However, the editorial office received a letter from one of the clients, with whom a similar situation occurred and he was is forced to repackage his cargo in a branded box of “Ukrposhta”.

The department told the man that Novaya Pochta exists as a direct competitor, and they are prohibited from accepting mail packaged in competitors’ packaging.

The outraged client even wrote to the head of the company – Igor Smelyansky and in response received an explanation, that postal items containing inscriptions, stickers on the address side, or having damaged, contaminated packaging are not subject to forwarding and are returned to the senders.

Earlier, to the complaint of an outraged Ukrainian, the representative of this postal operator replied that the presence of other people’s trademarks violates advertising law.

Smelyansky instead joked that it would be strange if the courier of “Ukrposhta” delivered the shipment to the box of “New mail”.

In an exclusive commentary to Segodnya, a representative of Nova Poshta assured that they it doesn’t matter what branding is applied to the box.

“For Nova Poshta, a box is an opportunity to protect the cargo during transportation, because it goes from the department to the car, then to the sorting terminal, then it is loaded again to deliver it to the recipient,” said the postal operator.

The main criteria for the box is that it is of high quality, intact and not damaged, and what is written above – it doesn’t matter, even if it’s a package with someone else’s logo.

“Today” also wrote that at “Novaya Pochta” they tried to force the woman to pack the shoe boxes in another box and did not want to send the parcel.
