Look in your pockets: which Ukrainian banknote can be sold for UAH 80,000

The auctions sell Ukrainian banknotes, which cost much more than their face value. The most valuable are banknotes with some unusual peculiarity.

Today we have compiled a selection of coins with original numbers.

For 500 hryvnia in 2015, they ask for 12 thousand hryvnia. The bill was in circulation, but in good condition. This instance has a unique number – 7777777.

And 100 hryvnias of 2005 issue can be sold at an online auction for 80 thousand hryvnias. This banknote was also in circulation. The specimen shows slight damage. She also has a unique number – ЗЗ7777777.

500 hryvnias with six zeros are sold for 60 thousand hryvnias. Banknote 2015 release. Judging by the ar photo, it was in circulation and there was a gray spot on it.

What else are they selling?

Three kopecks in 1986 are sold for 80 thousand hryvnia. And a coin of 1949 with marriage is sold for 40 thousand hryvnia. There on the obverse there is a stamp from 20 kopecks in 1948 – a flat star.

An ordinary Soviet coin, which was once in the pocket of every citizen of the Soviet Union, is sold at an auction for 207 thousand hryvnia. If such a 1957 penny is somewhere lying around in the house, it can be sold profitably.

Ukrainian coins are also in demand at auctions. For one hryvnia of 1992 release, you can get good money. It turned out that such coins began to be produced only in 1995, and in 1992 there was only an experimental batch. And 900 thousand hryvnia can be obtained for a rare coin with a factory marriage, allegedly having a mystical power. The same, of the same year of issue and face value, is sold at an auction for 100 thousand hryvnia.

Earlier, we reported that the National Bank will change the design of coins in denominations of 1 and 2 hryvnia, since Ukrainians massively complain that they are not easy to distinguish and they are inconvenient to use.
