(ANSA) – MILAN, 14 JAN – The Milan Stock Exchange (-0.5%) continues in negative territory, in line with the other lists of the Old Continent. Generali continues to decline (-0.6%), following the resignation of Caltagirone from the board of directors. Mediobanca, shareholder of Leone, is also bad, selling 1.1%. Unipol also fell in the insurance sector (-0.2%). The spread between BTP and Bund continues at 131 basis points, with the Italian ten-year yield at 1.22%.
Piazza Affari weighs Stm (-2%) and Moncler (-1.9%). Tim was also down (-1%), grappling with Kkr’s proposal. Leonardo is running (+ 2%), after the 346 million contract for 18 helicopters to Austria.
Banks move in negative ground except for Unicredit (+ 0.6%) and Banco Bpm (+ 0.1%). Carige (-0.2%), Mps (-0.5%), Bper and Intesa (-0.2%) are down. In no particular order the energy sector with Eni (+ 0.4%), Saipem and Tenaris (-0.2%).
