(ANSA) – MILAN, JANUARY 20 – The main European stock exchanges remain cautious, after the higher opening of Wall Street. Frankfurt and Madrid improved slightly (+ 0.2%), while London (-0.3%) and Paris (-0.2%) remained negative. Milan was stable (+ 0.3%), with the BTP-Bund spread slightly down to 132.8 points.
In Piazza Affari, as in the rest of Europe, utilities are strong, while oil and banks are doing badly. At the top of the main list is Enel (+ 2.6%) and Hera is doing well (+ 1.9%). Among the oil companies, the worst is Saipem (-2%), followed by the Tenaris plant (-1.1%) and Eni (-1%). Among the banks in the red Mediobanca (-0.6%), Banco Bpm (-0.4%), Unicredit and Bper (-0.3%) and Intesa (-0.2%). Fineco (+ 1.2%) and Mps (+ 0.6%) exceptions. Earnings are the paytech Nexi (+ 1.8%). Prysmian stands out in the industrial sector (+ 2%). Among the cars Stellantis weighs (-2%). Tim’s rebound continues (+ 1.3%), after the sharp drops of the last three sessions. (HANDLE).
