(ANSA) – MILAN, JANUARY 21 – Heavy stock exchanges in Europe awaiting the start of trading in the US, with futures in the red. The worst is Frankfurt (-2.5%), preceded by Paris (-2.25%), Milan (-2.15%), Madrid (-1.57%) and London (-1.46%).
Crude oil fell (Wti -0.46% to 85.17 dollars a barrel), while metals jumped, with the exception of gold (-0.18%), with copper (+ 1.51%) and nickel (+ 2.77%) in evidence. The spread between BTPs and German Bunds remained stable above 135 points, with the annual yield on ten-year bonds down by 2.8 points to 1.1272.
Particularly under pressure are the automakers Volvo (-3.77%), Stellantis (-3.75%), Ferrari (-3.64%), Volkswagen (-2.7%) and Bmw (-2.5%) .
