“Will”: Ukrainians created a cover for the Greek gloss Marie Claire

So the editors of the magazine decided to support the Ukrainian people and creatives, including photographers, designers, stylists and many others.

Following Vogue, other international glossy publications dedicate their issues to Ukraine. Thus, the April issue of the Greek Marie Claire came out in support of a nation that alone in the world can fight against the tyranny of Putin and Russia.

The cover of the new issue depicts a crane against a clear blue sky with snow-white clouds, as a symbol of security and prosperity in the Ukrainian folk tradition. Another iconic element of the cover was the Ukrainian word “Will”. The theme of the issue was dedicated to Ukrainian creatives and their work.

The new April issue of Marie Claire Greece is dedicated to Ukraine, supporting its people during this tragedy and presenting the creative forces of this beautiful country in fashion, photography and art.

A team of Ukrainians worked on the cover – photographer Stefan Lisovsky, edited by Nadya Shapoval.
