In honor of the platinum anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne, British Vogue will release a special issue in honor of Her Majesty.

On February 6, 1952, Elizabeth became Her Majesty the Queen. 70 years later, as we approach her 96th birthday on April 21 and then her platinum anniversary celebrations in the summer, British Vogue decided to showcase rare shots and tell the story of the fashion bible’s unique relationship with the monarch.

Thus, the editors of the publication, headed by Edward Enninful, devoted the April special issue of Vogue to Her Majesty’s style. The issue came out with two covers, one is an archival black-and-white photograph of Elizabeth II, which was taken in 1957 by Anthony Armstrong Jones, the husband of Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister.

The second cover of the April special issue of British Vogue came out somewhat jocular. The main character is actress Anya Taylor Joy. The star starred for a fashionable gloss in the image of a punk princess with an exact copy of a diamond tiara.
