Queen Elizabeth II’s husband Prince Philip died in April 2021, two months before his 100th birthday. On the eve of his death, Prince Philip had an infection and also underwent heart surgery.
Today in the very center of London – in Westminster Abbey – a memorial service was held in memory of the Duke, who lived with the Queen for 74 years in marriage.
Note that Elizabeth left Windsor Castle for a memorial service, accompanied by Prince Andrew. It is noteworthy that this is the first public appearance of the Duke of York, who was at the epicenter of a sexual scandal.

But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not come to the memorial service. Earlier, the Dukes of Sussex said they could not arrive in Britain due to “insufficient security”. The last time the grandson of Elizabeth II visited the UK eight months ago.
